Award Goes to GOP Technology for First Time

San Diego, CA—April 7, 2014— VoterTrove, the leading cloud-based data management platform for GOP campaigns, was recently awarded a Campaign Excellence award for “Best New Technology” from the American Association of Political Consultants.

VoterTrove was founded in 2012, and provides Republican campaigns and causes a single solution to store, organize and manage their data, and communicate directly to voters and important contacts.

“I attended the AAPC awards two years ago, and during the discussion about the best political technology, I realized that there were no representatives from the Republican party,” said Justin Gargiulo, Founder and CEO of VoterTrove. “We began building VoterTrove just one week after that, and this award is tremendous validation of the impact we’re already having on the market.”VoterTrove’s clients range from gubernatorial races to congressional, and the platform is regularly updated and enhanced based on direct client feedback. Current clients include John Cornyn for Senate, Michael Grimm for Congress, Pete Sessions for Congress, John McKinney for Governor and many more.

The Campaign Excellence awards are judged by the AAPC Board of Directors, which includes political consultants, political analysts, advertising executives and media personalities.

Previous winners of the “Best New Technology” award include Catalist and NGP-VAN, two companies credited with helping shape the technical infrastructure of the Democratic party, and the win by VoterTrove marks the first ever GOP-based platform to win the award.
